Presented is a fine quality Dutch silver serving spoon. This spoon is substantial and has good weight. There is a beautiful high relief farm scene on the bowl, and a lion crest on the top of the handle. The crest on the top of the handle probably represents a city in the Netherlands. In the bowl there is the lion inside profile representing .835 purity silver , and the key stamped next to the lion hallmark for the export mark, the woman's face tax stamp under one of the lions. There is also the date mark D for 1913 The condition is excellent. There are no cracks, no breaks, no repairs, no monograms, no monogram removals and no problems of any kind, only minor surface tarnish. This piece measures 7 5/8 inches.
