Description

Antique c. 1877 sterling silver serving spoon by Jos. Seymour. In very good condition. The pattern detail is crisp and there are no dents or dings! There is a wonderful monogram on it of Ella, which was a popular name at that time. It measures approx. 8 1/4" in length. It is well marked on the back with sterling and the patent date of 1877. It was retailed by the B. Allen Co. and manufactured by Jos. Seymour. I have lightly hand polished this piece so it will come to you clean. Note, I do my best as my old arthritic hands will allow me to do. YOU do not deserve to receive a dirty item. Sadly, many of the sterling pieces of the past were melted down during the high silver prices. This old antique spoon is 147 years old!
