Vintage Liberty magazine December 31, 1938. Several real good articles. First lady Eleanor Roosevelt writes a rebuke to author H. G. Wells article in a previous Liberty that had basically said Jews aren't trying hard enough to fit in. She eloquently takes issue with that viewpoint. Vincent Sheehan's "Peace or Breathing Spell? foreshadows World War II when he analyzes the recent breakup of Czechoslovakia to appease Germany and Hitler. Great fiction stories.
